Led by a respected international Editorial Board, the journal focuses on innovative research in all areas of obstetrics and gynaecology and key public health issues. With a respectable impact factor of 2.6, IJGO is widely regarded for its scientific contributions to the field. In 2024, the journal achieved 2.8 million downloads, underscoring its significant reach and influence. 

The  IJGO Author Guidelines provide clear instructions for preparing manuscripts, before submitting them for consideration to the Editorial Manager. All manuscripts are subject to peer review prior to acceptance for publication.  Average turnaround time to first decision is 56 days, which ensures timely communication of critical findings. 

Open access funding 

Open access publication in IJGO makes research more accessible to global audiences. Many institutions worldwide have an open access agreement with IJGO’s publisher, Wiley.
